It is the news that every one has been waiting for. Whether you were a hardcore TAKE THAT fan in the early 90s or have just discovered their new, more mature, sound of late; since his departure in 1995 and the bands eventual break up in 1996, to their reformation in 2006 and record breaking achievements thus far as a four piece, the question that has been on the minds of fans every where has been, ‘will Robbie ever rejoin Take That?’. Well the wait is over ladies and gentlemen, Sky News have officially broken the story that the nation has been waiting for. ROBBIE WILLIAMS WILL REUNITE WITH TAKE THAT. In a statement just released on the Sky News website, the band announced that “The rumours are true… Take That: the original line-up, have written and recorded a new album for release later this year”. Robbie has said of the reunion “it feels like coming home”.

There had been speculation all year since Robbie and Gary had been seen spending a lot of time together and even in a recording studio in LA – California that the two would put their differences aside and Robbie would rejoin Mark Owen, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Gary Barlow creating the original band that stormed the charts of the 90s and now it is official. There will be an album released in November of this year, followed by a tour which will include all five members of the band. Robbie and Gary had already collaborated on a song for Robbie’s new greatest hits CD entitled ‘The Greatest Hits – 1990-2010: In and Out of Consciousness’, which will be released in October. The new full piece Take That album will be the first time all five members of the band have appeared on an album together since 1995s number one album Nobody Else and will undoubtedly be yet another record breaking triumph for the band, but this time, with Robbie Williams in tow. The boys said of the event:

Williams: “I get embarrassingly excited when the five of us are in a room.”

Mark Owen: “Getting the five of us to be in a room together, although always a dream, never actually seemed like becoming a reality.” “Now the reality of the five of us making a record together feels like a dream. It’s been an absolute delight spending time with Rob again. But I’m still a better footballer.”

Jason Orange: “‘Flippin’ brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I’m over the moon that Robbie’s back with us, however long it lasts. I just want to enjoy our time with him.” “Life is beautifully strange sometimes.”
